Position: Executive Assistant

General Duties:

The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Director, Raghad Ebied, and for the organization’s programs. To be successful in this position, the candidate must be able to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast paced environment that is essential for a growing enterprise with multiple brands serving different audiences, including an online TV brand, that serves clients around the world.

Our organization, provides online and LIVE professional speaking, training, and coaching, articles, and videos to Muslim women and other audiences from other faiths, backgrounds and traditions, worldwide on how to excel in their spirituality, relationships, career/contribution and well-being.

This position will start as part time (5-10 hours/week) but we are looking for an individual that is interested in a long term opportunity with potential for the position to become full time as well as potential for growth and promotion in our organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Reply to client emails, send emails to or call clients, follow up with clients, and ensure an excellent client experience
-Liaise and coordinate details and logistics related to programs and content with partners and guests
-Recruit and manage volunteers as necessary
-Research and Report Writing
-Online Courses and Forums/Facebook Groups Support
-Transcribing Audios/Videos into Text
-Online Database creation and management
-Social Media Marketing and Management
-Familiarity with different media including podcasts, etc.
-Online Marketing for Events
-Preparing and/or publishing regular E-Newsletters to subscribers
-LIVE and Online Event Planning
-Video editing (using simple software such as Windows Movie Maker is considered an asset)
-Other duties as required.

Ideal Skills and Qualifications:

-Some University or College education preferably in the social science, business, media studies or education field
Previous experience with supporting/planning/delivering programs, especially online programs.
-Event planning/marketing/advertising experience or any other business related experience
-Excellent customer service/care skills and be professional, friendly, enthusiastic, and able to build harmonious working relationships with clients, co-workers, and general public
-Strong PC skills i.e. Word, Excel, and Power Point, Movie-Maker
-Graphic design skills an asset
-Detail oriented
-Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in English (communication skills in Arabic is an asset).
-Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative, be self-motivated, flexible and proactive
-Quick learner and Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple work priorities and meet deadlines
-Ability to perform administrative duties with speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision
-Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to business communication
-Flexible, adaptable and ability to manage stress
-Innovative and creative is an asset
-Interested and enthusiastic about delivering personal and professional development programs and changing lives
-Familiar with needs and challenges of Muslim women in specific, and women in general

Location
London, Ontario, Canada is preferred; however, other locations around the world will be considered since most duties related to position will be completed remotely.

Compensation
Salary is Negotiable
