Strategies to help you fulfill one of the most important, most rewarding, most difficult, and most precious roles in your life!
Are you a new mother? An experienced mother? Are you expecting a child soon? Do you face any challenges when feeding your child, putting him/her to sleep, trying to start the toilet training process or dealing with behavioural outbursts? Don’t lose hope! You’re certainly not the only mother with daily struggles and this course is designed to help you by giving you effective, practical strategies to deal with your struggles and enhance your success in parenting your child!
You are the expert on your own child. These webinars (online sessions) will simply guide you to well-researched and effective parenting techniques which will help reduce the everyday struggles which you and your child experience.
Every parent wants the best of everything for their child. You want your child to eat the best, most nutritious foods, sleep as much as they need to for optimal growth, behave in appropriate ways and not drive you up the wall every day so that you can be the “best” parent to them. However, life does not always wind up that way. Some children have medical problems which make the above eutopian dream difficult to realize. Some children have difficult temperaments and are difficult to deal with which leads to parental frustration and sometimes leads to feelings of guilt and reduced self-efficacy as a parent. It’s important for parents not to blame themselves if their child is not eating, sleeping or behaving well and it’s especially important not to compare your own children to other children.
Some parents fall into the trap of giving in whenever power struggles occur between them and their children just to put an end to the tantrum or out of sheer frustration or exhaustion. However, this can just lead to more struggles and negative consequences in the future.
Every child is unique and each family has unique circumstances which need to be taken into consideration when deciding on a particular course of treatment to take. However, this course will provide you with many strategies which you can then adjust in order to suit your child. Take some time to look at the following questions. If you have answered yes to most of them then this course is definitely for you!

|During the second webinar on behavioural issues, we will be going over:
Infant night-waking and strategies to promote independent sleep
